Larger-piece product path

Check product size, fragility, outlet clearance and the supported pack through the full discharge.

Chips, puffs, pet food, beans, seeds and small components can share a nominal weight range but behave very differently. The largest piece, shape, bounce, coating, fragility and pack opening can determine whether product flows cleanly through the selected outlet.

Why should the largest piece be supplied?

The largest or longest piece is often the one that bridges, turns in the outlet or damages the pack. Provide samples that preserve the real size distribution rather than a screened easy fraction.

How does drop height affect the result?

Drop height can affect breakage, bounce, scatter and product settling. Review the complete route from outlet to the base of the pack, including any funnel, chute or support.

What pack support is needed?

Confirm the opening, stability, fill height and operator or automatic support. A large flexible bag may need controlled presentation so it does not collapse or move during the dose.

Application confirmation

Check product size, fragility and the full discharge path.

The wide-channel route shown above can suit larger free-flowing products, but the final result depends on how pieces enter the feeder, settle in the weighing chamber and pass through the outlet into the pack.

Product and pack checks

Send the largest and smallest product pieces, target weight, tolerance, pack opening and required output. For chips, puffs, treats and other fragile products, inspect breakage and total fall height as well as weight accuracy.

Production evidence

Record average weight, variation, giveaway, rejected cycles, product damage and any blockage or bounce at the outlet. Where the line feeds a pouch or bagger, test the complete discharge timing rather than the filler alone.
